Brice Cooke scored 18 goals a year ago in Niagara. Tonight he is scratched. Well I said a forward was likely to be dealt and it is apparently him. I hear Cooke is heading to Mississauga for three picks; two of which I believe are 5ths.

Correction - sounds like a 2nd, 5th and a 7th which is a return I feel much better about if I am a Niagara fan.

I honestly do not think that is enough of a return.

I simply do not get the reason for the trade except he simply does not want many (any) players that were from the previous regime

Cook had a very good rookie season on a terrible team

I missed the intros so did not know he was not introduced

This GM is clueless

If you count bishop and vermeulen who are apparently still around the team they have 16 forwards after the trade yesterday so someone had to go not the guy I would pick to go but they would’ve got a lot less for him

The return is okay I guess but why trade a player who had the third most goals on the team last year and was also a rookie. I am starting to wonder if players are asking to be traded as this is another head scratcher trade.

The weird thing about this is that Mississauga is suppose to be one of the best teams in the East this year yet they are taking all of the players the Icedogs don’t want. I really think these trades are going to come back and bite the Icedogs.

I actually liked watching Cook play last year I thought he Fimis and Castle had great chemistry

I just find it laughable he has traded all of these players without seeing them play this year after a summer of growth

It is a very shortsighted way to run a team

If he stays as the GM long term

Cue up the bad teams like when Cherry was the owner
