Only goalie to not allow a goal yesterday. Roy and Pickard each allowed one and JP (sieve) allowed three.
Playing for the Red team, they were out shot 13-5 in the first. Hard to gauge how he played but the shots were 30-27 in favor of White so its probably safe to say he saw the most shots. http://www.hockeycanada.ca/index.php...96/la_id/1.htm |

For what its worth, Bob McKenzie has said today that he believes Visser will make it along with either Roy or Pickard.

As an Oilers and Ice Dogs fan, nothing would make me happier than to see a Roy/Visentin combo

Viz only goalie NOT to allow a goal tonight. 11 shots - 11 saves! Canada Jr's beat OUA All-Stars 6-2. St. Catharines native Riley Sheehan named first star with one goal and two assists.

I was one of 15 lucky people who won tickets through hockey canada to see the game live.
Visser started and looked really sharp. He didn't have very many in close / tight shots against, but was sharp and solid throughout. he was scored on during the first period, but the goal was called off as he was interfered with (ie. as the puck went into the net he was facing the corner zamboni entrance/exit). Roy and Pickard looked pretty weak on many of the goals. Admittedly the Jr. team was a 1/2 step ahead of their older competitors. Almost all of the University players were former OHL players and even one from the AHL. PJ Anderson was scored on twice in the 3rd period and didn't seem to be a solid as V man. To me (and I'm biased of course) Visentin was the best goalie tonight. Marty better be doing some shopping for a short term goalie rental while Mark is away for christmas !! ![]() ![]() ![]()

How did you enter? I was wondering if it was open to the public like it was in Calgary a few years ago, and finally heard it was some kind of lottery? By then, it was too late to enter.
How did the game go overall? How does the team look? |

Congratulations to Visentin!! I honestly didn't think he had an honest chance as the other goalies seemed to have all the hype going into the selection camp, but as camp went on, he seemed to grab the bull by the horns and made the best of his ooportunities. Way to go! Wonder who will be the starter?
