I'm also 100% in the sell camp, but we do have THE best forward, THE best d-man and one of the best power forwards in the league. Are the odds in our favour? No. But can we beat any team with a hot goaltender and the best from our big 3? Yes. |

They'd have a chance. Not a good one, but a chance. They went into London on the back end of a 2 in 2 nights and took the play to them for the second half of the game with the big line having just a so-so game. London was icing the puck and kind of just hanging on. I'm all for selling and getting ready to have a nice run when the new building opens, but this team has the best first line this leagues seen since Kane, Gagner and Kostitsyn and the top D man in Canada they have a punchers chance.

We will see how it all plays out when the strike is over...chances are we won't have the one line anymore....and any idea who this goalie is ? That is going to come in and steal us a championship....one things for sure things are going to get a lot more interesting in here real soon....lol.....Go Dogs.

As it was stated on here before, I believe by Hockey123, No-one is going to give away their future to get good players just to lose to London.

We've got the players that are at the top of the chart for what other teams want. We need to sacrifice a year or two here and there, in order to make a run at the championship from time to time. Putting 'half decent' teams on the ice every year, and never winning it all, is NOT the way to run a team, or a business. Sell Strome, Ritchie, Hamilton. Get back to the championship in a few years. Then sell and do it all over again. Year after year of mediocre teams - always good enough to go a couple rounds into the playoffs, but never good enough to win it all - is just nonsense. It's better to run it as a rollercoaster where you can make it to the very top at the end of each cycle. |

from a pure competition stand point, you can easily make the case it's stupid to sell.
NIA is 3 pts out of 1st in the conference. It's there for the taking right now, especially if the Dogs buy. Oshawa will get Lessio and 9 other guys back soon so they may have the advantage regardless of trade. But, I'm shocked so many people want to sell and not attempt to make another run. If the Dogs go for it this year and then bottom out and get 1st overall the next 2 years, i think it could be worth it. A couple years of drafting high and with the 96s and 95s they could be a good young team in a couple years having that said, it is very appealing to sell and set the team up for the next 3 years. either way should be a great choice. If you buy there's still no guarantee they'd make the finals so it may not be worth it then. if they made it to the finals again, the buy option would have to be worth it. Williamson has a fascinating decision. Really, you can't screw it up, can you? god I hope the NHL gets cancelled soon
