With the April 11th OHL Draft only a few weeks away, here are summaries of some of the top players who participated in the OHL CUP.

I hope our two first-rounders report this year. McLeod and Strome would be nice additions.

Doubt McLeod makes it past Mississauga.

Strome would be a bit of a reach at that pick I would think but I still wouldn't mind it. I'm assuming he's already training with his brothers and Tavares and his biggest weakness is apparently skating which can be improved with hard work.


I wouldn't mind seeing them grab Wendel Clark's kid in the 4th or fifth. I don't really know much about him but he's supposed to go right around there and it would be kind of cool.

From the few people I have talked to McLeod will not be around by the 7th overall pick.

From what I've read, expect Levin, Tippett, Vilardi, McLeod to go in the top four to SBY, WSR, FLI, and MIS. Expect the Dogs to take someone like Miereles, Gilmour, Jones, Neumann with the 7th. Strome should be available by the 13th pick.

Then again, who knows what Marty does. He took a guy that everyone knew wasn't going to report last year.

I think at number 7 they will take def hayden davis from Hamilton huskies and at 13 take strome

Ya i get that. I totally understand why anyone would want to get another Dman so I wouldnt argue it with anyone. I just dont want to spend a 1st on one when we could get a dynamic offensive player and still grab a good dman in the 2nd
