hockeyprospect.com ranked him #3!

LEONARD, ALEC
RD- Mississauga Reps (GTHL) 5’11” 175
Alec is a smooth skating, right-handed, puck-moving defensemen who can explode up and down the ice with ease.
Tends to be very aggressive on forechecks, knowing that he can turn and get back into position. His change of direction
is seamless, and his quick feet allow him to get to his top speed effortlessly or walk the offensive zone blue line.

Defensively he keeps a great gap using his high-end backwards skating to stay stride for stride while angling players in
order to take away their options. Makes smart passes both in the offensive zone and in breakout scenarios showcasing
his feel for the game and overall playmaking skills. Alec also displays a good willingness to compete in the physical side
of the game and is not afraid of going into the boards to battle for possession.

He was one of the most physical players in the entire GTHL this season, consistently delivering heavy hits on opponents.
Overall, Alec has extremely high skating and competes.

Not who I would have expected them to take at 33, considering the player available, but then I've never seen him play...

COOKE, BRICE
LW- Toronto Jr. Canadiens (GTHL) 6’1” 175

Brice is left-handed winger who has displayed a knack for scoring goals through either sniping one top shelf or using a
quick deke to get around the goalie and tuck it in. He is an offensive specialist equipped with strong stickhandling and
playmaking skills combined with good vision that make him a threat whenever he has the puck in the offensive zone.
Brice is good at making defenders miss with a toe drag and finding an open area on the ice to make a play due to lateral
mobility.

Brice Cook is a winger with size and excellent hands. His physical play is what makes him appealing, as he can lay big hits and effectively use his stick to remove the puck. He also has a good offensive skill set, as he has really good hands that allow him to beat players one-on-one and create open space. He is a good skater for his size, specifically on his and lateral movement, but his speed should improve to get to the next level.
