Now Zane's brother Zaccharya...

hockeyprospect.com
WISDOM, ZACCHARYA RW/LW - Mississauga. Senators (GTHL) 5’10” 155
Zaccharya is a speedy forward with great hands and goal scoring ability. He finished second on the Senator’s in goals scored and was one of their top forwards all season. He has a heavy shot off the rush and is very accurate in picking the corners of the net. Zaccharya has explosive speed and good lateral mobility, which helps him forecheck hard and force turnovers. He competes hard and plays in most situations, including late in games. Zaccharya has good puck protection skills and can generate scoring chances from either perimeter shots or by crashing the net.

56.Zack Wisdom, RW/RS, Mississauga Senators (GTHL)
An energetic hard–hitting forward, Wisdom has shown he will do whatever it takes to help his team win. He possesses a nice top–speed that he uses to gain the offensive zone and pressure opponents on the forecheck. When his team is down, he’s the guy finding a way to score. A nose for the net paired with a nice shot has helped his team pull out come-from-behind wins multiple times this season

I realize these later round picks are a shot in the dark (or a shot at an NCAA commit), but Kailen Chen? When they could have selected Southern Tier Admiral Cameron Lowe (6.00). Seems like an odd selection.

Half the Southern Tier Admirals team (Lowe) has now been drafted. Only one Niagara North player thus far.

...and again. Draft 5.06 Stevie Li? Instead taking a flyer on the USA player Sarnia selected with the next pick Zach Filak. Li is not going to make this team, but if you can recruit Filak (6.01 / 170) Compuware U16 (HPHL U16) you some capable of being a 1st line centre. IceDogs did extremely well for the first 6 rounds, but they are just wasting away these later round picks on players that will never play in the OHL. Boring!

A statement perhaps on their draft day depth preparedness?

I could have provided them with a long list of flyers to take a chance on. Even if they donít come this year, you own their rights - maybe they change their minds, maybe they get assign to your team or maybe you can use them in a trade. Need to be more creative and aggressive with picks after round 6, few of those players make it to the OHL.
